Field Mechanic

JOB REQUIREMENTS: Description During the packing season, serve as a crew leader/mechanic for field operations. In the off-season, involved with the overhaul and repair of machinery and vehicles used in field operations. Focus on working safely and working to keep those around us safe. Responsible for the efficient operation of the harvesters and any other equipment used in our planting and harvesting operations. Maintain all equipment in good repair. Responsible for the preventative maintenance, adjustments and repair of field equipment. Utilize harvesting procedures that generate maximum crop recovery and quality. Train and supervise all employees on crew, by using safe, proper and efficient operations of equipment to which they are assigned. Transport crew to work location using Company vehicle. Assist in the planting of crops. Enforce company safety policies and procedures. Assist in accident investigations. Maintain work area in a clean and orderly manner. Must have a clear driving record.
