Senior HRIS Analyst

Position Overview:Ensure data integrity, compliance and consistent practices are performed across HR systems. Work in collaboration with IT, Human Resources and other HRIS team members. Perform complex troubleshooting to resolve issues in creative ways and general system maintenance.

Location: Grand Rapids, MI area. Must be located in western Michigan or be relocating to the area. Our client will not entertain a permanent remote employee.

Position Responsibilities

  • Act as SME to drive projects and initiatives on data, security and processes.
  • Administer and maintain current systems (including but not limited to Peoplesoft, iCIMS, SuccessFactors) and understand how decisions made impact systems downstream.
  • Serve as implementation lead on select new systems in the future.
  • Participate in cross-functional teams to understand needs and communicate across departments impact of HR system and process changes.
  • Collaboration with various departments to translate business requirements into technical requirements and system outputs.
  • Aid Human Resources to compile date in meaningful way to share with executives for decision making and proactive business planning.
  • Perform test on system maintenance and upgrades to ensure they do not have an inverse impact on the system environment.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Position Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in HRIS, Business Administration, computer systems, information technology or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
  • 5+ years of relevant HRIS experience.
  • Strong communication skills to work cross functionally and explain technically complex concepts in a meaningful way to non-technical professionals.
  • Maintain system configuration and business processes to meet business requirements.
  • Experience collaborating with Business Partners to understand business needs and the associated system requirements.
  • Experience in creative problem solving.
