Carpenters assistant

Looking to start someone Monday 11/30/2020 if possible if the ad is still up, I’m still looking for someone.

Seeking carpenters assistant for a high-end custom framing and (some) finish carpentry company. 2 years of carpentry experience is required. Thorough knowledge and understanding of jobsite safety necessary. The ideal candidate would be eager to learn new skills and grow in the trade. We are looking to hire someone who has a good work ethic, a positive attitude, and takes pride in producing high-quality work in a reasonable amount of time.

Competitive pay dependent on experience, productivity, and efficiency. Opportunity for advancement within the trade for ambitious people. $20 an hour.

MUST have 2-years construction experience.

Requirements:

- 2-years of construction experience.

- Help to maintain a safe and clean workplace.

- Respectful of clients, co-workers, other trades, and anyone involved with project.

- You will be required provide your own work boots, gloves and handbag (tape, square, knife, ect)

- Must be able to pass a background check and have no recent serious criminal charges.

- Cannot be afraid of heights.

- Must be physically fit enough to sustain a very physical workday and may be required to lift 75+ lbs. over your head on occasion.

- Reliable transportation is an absolute must. It is important to be on time and at work everyday, though we do understand unexpected circumstances.

- Year-round work, mostly in the Boulder area, always northern Colorado. Never Denver.

This is a 1099 position. Trade name and liability insurance are required.
