Blackberry Moon Produce is a commercial vegetable farm located west of Baxter Springs KS. The farm focuses on high volume production and organic farm practices. Production is year-round including low intensity greenhouses.
Position: Farm Assistant

Qualified candidates must be willing to practice appropriate social distancing, the highest levels of hygiene, and the use of face covering at the farm’s indoor facilities.
Duties
Harvest, sort, and pack seasonal vegetables
Assist in organic methods of pest and weed control
Evaluate and report on production
General farm labor
Qualification
A passion for local and sustainably produced food
A positive attitude
Ability to lift and carry 50lbs
Ability to perform tasks that require bending or kneeling for several hours
Ability to work outdoors in a variety of weather conditions
An ability to identify a variety of fruits and vegetables is preferred
Some college is preferred
Compensation:
Starting at $11.00 based on experience.
Availability:
Currently seeking applicants for 15 to 20 hours a week. Schedule can be flexible with priority given to applicants with Friday - Monday availability
