Minimum Qualifications??
- 2 years of experience in a delivery support role (Release Train Engineer, Scrum Master, Project/Program Manager,?etc.)
- 3 years of experience with the software development life cycle
- Bachelor?s degree in a computer science, information technology, or business or equivalent experience
- Certified?SAFe?Agilist (SA) or at least one role-based?SAFe?certification
- Base-level knowledge of a work tracking tool, such as TFS or Jira (or similar work tracking tools)
- Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, Word and Visio)
Preferred Qualifications- SAFe?SM,?SAFe?RTE, CSPO,?CSM and/or?SAFe?PO/PM certifications
- 3 years?of?advanced knowledge of a work tracking tool, such as TFS or Jira (or similar work tracking tools)
Job SummaryThe Release Train Engineer supports an Agile?release?train by leading them in their journey to adopting?Lean?Agile practices and optimizing their workflow. This includes implementing effective work intake and prioritization practices, preparing and facilitating train-level planning ceremonies, establishing and implementing continuous improvement opportunities, removing roadblocks and providing visibility into?the?progress of active work.Responsibilities- Optimize the flow of value for an Agile?release train by coaching the train toward?Lean and?Agile processes
- Provide visibility into the status of?release train?commitments and maintain capacity plans for the supported Technology teams
- Use metrics effectively in coaching teams and?release?train leadership
- Help teams and the train escalate/remove impediments
- Collect feedback and work with the teams and train to review, analyze and improve delivery practices
- Lead the preparation leading up to release planning, execute release planning and manage the release calendar of events
- Facilitate the Scrum of Scrums and other key?release train?ceremonies
- Work with Product Development team members to ensure a high quality of features and sound estimation
- Provide Agile coaching on a train to help resolve process issues within teams or for the overall train
- Actively participate?in?and contribute to the?Release Train Engineer?Community of Practice to help grow the entire?community
