Daily Tasks to be Performed:ServiceNow developmentTroubleshoot daily ITSM incidents reportedSupport ScriptingDevelop Catalog workflow requirements neededMaintain Organizational and User Profile DataDaily Scrum meetingsAdministrative activities as neededSupport Discovery infrastructureSupport for IntegrationsScheduled imports from JDBC data sourcesRun C# scripts to parse and normalize dataInbound Web servicesSSODuties/ResponsibilitiesCodes and performs unit and integration testing of ServiceNow software to ensure proper execution and adherence to business and technical requirementsCodes, tests and debugs new ServiceNow functions or makes enhancements to existing functionsWrites programs according to specifications from higher level staff or business analystsDevelops technical documentationResolves in a timely manner problems that arise with existing production ServiceNow instance to ensure the efficient and proper functioning of ServiceNow componentsAnalyzes problems by coordinating with Honda technical staff to diagnose and fix operational difficulty, as well as consulting, advising and training on specialized features and functionsGenerates a variety of complex and periodic reports and/or data extracts through database management, data administration and data extraction techniquesProvides general system users and management with system analysis and feedbackInfluence system design by identifying requirements and recommending design and for software enhancementsFollows established configuration/change control processesMinimum 3 years of ServiceNow development/administration experience Java experienceExperience in developing ServiceNow functionality that integrates multiple ServiceNow modules (cross-platform)Deep technical and process knowledge of key ServiceNow modules and conceptsExpertise in ServiceNow Development and Administration techniquesExperience implementing integrations of ServiceNow to external systems with knowledge of common integration techniquesExperience working in an agile environment utilizing Story/Defect methodologyExperience implementing ServiceNow upgrades and patches, knowledge of ServiceNow upgrade and patching processExperience managing ServiceNow code changes in update sets and promoting and applying update sets across instancesStrong ServiceNow experience with:Transform Map scripting, data validation and debuggingScheduled jobsDBC data sourcesInbound web servicesMID server architecture, configuration and customizationDiscovery detailed configuration and troubleshootingMulti-provider SSO configuration and troubleshootingWorking knowledge of:SAML, OAuth and OIDC authentication servicesFile transfer using ftp and MFTConversant in network terminologyConversant in UNIX admin, authentication, credentialsStrong Windows server adminCertifications Required: ServiceNow Certified System Administrator Preferred: Experience with projects in CSM and GRC Experience working with C#Certified Implementation Specialist - ITSM (or any other module/suite)Certified Application DeveloperITIL V3 certification
