Job PurposeThe Digital Workforce Engineer will be responsible for aligning collaboration technologies with business strategies to support associate productivity. This role will develop roadmaps for capabilities available in Microsoft 365 and other leading digital collaboration platforms in accordance with financial industry regulations. The candidate will work closely with business users, architecture, security and compliance to drive adoption of new capabilities to support digital collaboration for associates working in corporate offices and from home.

Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities
  • Develops roadmaps, governance, and adoption plans for emerging collaboration technologies.
  • Derives maximum business value from capabilities available through Microsoft 365.
  • Works with business users to align legacy processes to digital collaboration capabilities.
  • Creates organization wide standards and templates for SharePoint, PowerAutomate and PowerApps.
  • Assists with requirements and designs for chat bots and integrations to Microsoft Teams.
  • Conducts proof of technology evaluations and pilots with business users.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
  • Experience in creating a business environment to increase associate productivity.
  • Working experience in an Agile environment and supplying tools for delivery teams to help their processes.
  • Experience at the engineering or architecture level with the Microsoft 365 platform.
  • Experience deploying Microsoft Teams, SharePoint Online and Exchange Online.
  • Understanding of enterprise telephony and video conferencing platforms.
  • Experience with automation through Powershell and PowerAutomate.
  • Experience supporting Zoom, WebEx, Slack and other non-Microsoft collaboration platforms.
  • Ability to work closely with business users to accurately access collaboration needs.
  • Ability to mentor and train power users and technical support teams.
  • Ability to self-direct work and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  • Education and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, related field, and/or equivalent experience.
  • 3-5 years’ experience at the engineering level or above supporting Microsoft 365 in a medium to large enterprise.
  • 8 years’ experience in corporate IT or consulting
  • Preferred technical background in a federally regulated or financial services organization
