#6338 W2 OnlyLocal candidates are encouraged to apply Our direct client is looking for a contract Business Systems Analyst (BSA) to support PMO Systems such as Clarizen and Tableau. This is a 6 month contract with possibilities for extension or conversion to FTE in the Costa Mesa, CA area. Responsible for ensuring the PPM needs of organization are met for all PMOs. Candidates should have the ability to manage the needs of multiple stakeholders and tasks simultaneously, have a positive demeanor, eye for detail, and translate technical language into layman's terms. The IT BSA should also possess strong communication skills and have the ability to work both independently and within a team. This position will report into the IT Project Management Office. Please note that this is a true BSA position for candidates who are career BSAs wanting to career track in this direction.

Responsibilities:
  • Work with Stakeholders (SMEs, BSAs, Project Management Offices) to support business processes within the organization's enterprise PMOs utilizing and supporting the global project portfolio management (PPM) system, Clarizen.
  • Meet with stakeholders to elicit and document requirements, map business processes, develop functional specifications for system features, with the ability to prioritize work efforts
  • Create reports and dashboards for portfolio and project management offices using Tableau
  • Provide maintenance for the enterprise project and portfolio management system, Clarizen
  • Test systems to execute features and integration
  • Apply trouble shooting techniques and Level 3 support for system related issues and know when to involve the vendor where necessary
  • Work with Level 1 and Level 2 support teams to provide comprehensive end user support
  • Develop knowledge base articles, training materials, and deliver training to end users
  • Work within Tableau to create dashboards (Hands-on creating dashboards, create and connect to data sources such as data sources in the cloud, content creator using Desktop Pro version.)

  • Competent in handling multiple tasks with attention to detail, and perform duties with minimal supervision
  • Organizational and project management skills preferred

Requirements:
  • 3 years of work experience as a technical business systems analyst
  • Experience working in complex, matrixed, and global business environments Experience with identifying, integrating, and managing SaaS solutions and external vendors
  • Proven expertise in usage of MS Office Suite
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Experience with ServiceNow, Tableau, and Clarizen preferred
