Agile APQP Consultant

The position will initially remote until COVID restrictions are lifted. The placement will be expected to relocate and work onsite.Position: Advisory Consultant - Agile APQPLocation: Detroit, MI7+ years of experience in project management requiredExperience with the Automotive industry is mandatoryB.S Engineering, Automotive / Mechanical/ Electrical/ Electronics or directly related degree requiredPMP Certification preferredDemonstrated ability to perform all facets of the standard project management lifecycle, including project initiation, planning, execution, monitoring/controlling and closure requiredAdept at actively managing scope, risk, and client communications requiredProject Management experience planning and monitoring analytics projects using Agile/Scrum principles. Certified Agile a plus, or Six SigmaAbility to balance technical requirements with business needsStrong interpersonal communications skills and excellent writing and presentation skillsPrevious customer engagement experience.Advanced user of APQP, Microsoft Project, or JIRATake initiative to coach, mentor, and consult with co-workers and actively support team-based developmentDrive the on-time delivery of complete scopeAdvise staff with design, analysis, test planning, project work plans and estimatesEnsure all solutions are delivered in accordance with client's standards and methodologiesStay abreast of technical and industry developmentsProvide the highest quality services possible to all external and internal clientsAssist with final deliverableBe part of team approach to an end goal of client satisfactionYou will help by identifying, specifying and analyzing APQP requirements and advise on Agile framework "end state” processes, managing progress throughout the design, and strategic consult process.
