Network Operations Center (NOC)Support Technician for aconract-to-hire positionon the east side of Madison. This opening is for a third shift technician.The ideal candidate for this rolewill have excellent communication skills and a passion for providing exceptional technical phone supportin a fast-pacedcall center.This is a great opportunity for a recent college graduate seekinga professional growth opportunity with a rapidlyexpanding business or someone who is looking to build upon their networking/NOC experience.What you'll do•Answer incoming calls for the department in a pleasant and helpful manner•Research and resolve issues that come in via both phone and email•Perform incident documentation by creating tickets•Act at the "front line" to the company's technical support staff members•Escalating issues to senior staff, shift leads and management as necessary•Monitor alarm activity through the software monitoring system•Verify that response times and availability requirements are metPreferred Education and Qualifications•Strong phone customer service skills•Understanding of TCP/IP, subnetting and the OSI network model•Associate's Degree or above in IT Networking or similar fieldIf you are interested in being considered for this opportunity, please send a resume to Alex Stormoen, Technical Recruiter, at TECHNOLOGY.
