RESPONSIBILITIES:Kforce has a client in search of a Software Developer II in Richmond, VA.Key Tasks: Partner with application teams to resolve support issues Effectively estimate the time it will take to perform tasks Identify tasks and impediments, appropriately and effectively escalates through the appropriate channels Apply best practices and design patterns with guidance from others Identify minimal viable technical products that meet business requirements with support from others Engage in support situation and effectively, efficiently, and quickly drive to a successful resolution Help develop our self-service and automated tooling to help applications team move fast, yet provide the guardrails to ensure the quality and security of our systems You will stay on top of industry trends and best practices to continually improve what we do, how we do it and ensure our internal customer experience is always improvingREQUIREMENTS: A degree in Computer Science or a related discipline or equivalent experience At least three years of application development experience Experience in some of the following preferred: Microsoft.NET (C#), .NET Core, and the design/creation of REST APIs Working knowledge of cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS preferred Understanding of DevOps capabilities such as automated testing, continuous integration, and continuous delivery preferred Proven experience leveraging existing software, development of reusable components, and elimination of redundancy in designs Experience in infrastructure build and deployment, including private and public cloud, networking, connectivity, storage, virtualization and access control Demonstrable experience with Azure cloud capabilities such as storage, key vaults, virtual networking, web apps AAD, virtual machines, access management and automated deployments Demonstrable experience with software development preferably with one or more of PowerShell, Python, C#, React Demonstrable experience creating and managing CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Team City or Azure DevOps This role requires hands-on work in technologies such as Azure PaaS (Functions, App Services, App Insights, Structured/Unstructured data storage, and others), .NET Core, SQL, TeamCity or Azure DevOps for CI/CD, load testing/automated testing tools, Splunk, and API management systems Demonstrable experience support Windows or Linux OS Strong attention to detail, problem investigation and diagnostic skills Strong sense of ownership, customer service, and integrity demonstrated through clear communication and positive actionKforce is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
