- 12+ years of hands on experience leading large-scale complex data warehousing and analytics projects that have been successfully delivered to customers.
- Understanding of database(s) and analytical technologies in the industry including MPP and NoSQL databases, Data Warehouse design, BI reporting and Dashboard development.
- Expert in SQL, Data/Schema design and able to document &create technical diagrams for solutions.
- Experience in implementing AWS services in a variety of distributed computing, enterprise environments.
- Desire and ability to interact with different levels of the organization from development to C-Level executives.
- Hands on experience in implementing, managing & supporting end to end data lake initiatives.
- Proficiency in one or more scripting/programming languages.
- Hands on experience with AWS Data Pipeline, S3 and Redshift Spectrum
- Integration of database with analytics tools (such as Tableau, MicroStrategy etc.)
- Collect, process and transform data from current and future data sources for consumption and visualization by various business units
- Experience with energy domain will be a plus.
- Multiple years of AWS systems administration experience
- Experience with Kubernetes (EKS specifically)
- Well-versed in running large scale, auto-scaling environments
- Security experience (examples: CIS image hardening, PCI template application and maintenance, secrets storage and rotation, etc.)
- Need some exposure in EC2, KMS, EBS, S3, EFS, ELB, Github, CodeBuild, Terraform, Cloudformation, Ansible, Vault, Prometheus, Server Density, and ELK.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science
- Cloud AWS Services like EC2, EMR, RDS,S3, Cloud Watch, Cloud Monitor, IAM, Lambda, Kinesis
- Big Data (Knowledge) like Hadoop, Hive, HDFS, Spark, YARN
- Programming Languages like (at least in Two languages) Scala, Python, SQL, Talend
- Databases experience in MemSQL, AWS DBs (Arora, RDS), Teradata, Snowflake (nice to have), Working knowledge with Control M
- Experience in Others like Jenkins, Github, Jira
- Experience in BI Tools like MicroStrategy
- BS Degree in IT, MIS or business related functional discipline
- AWS Certification is a preferred one for the Associate
