Description: Missiles and Fire Control (MFC) is a recognized designer, developer and manufacturer of precision engagement aerospace and defense systems for the U.S. and allied militaries. This is Lockheed Martin’s lead business unit for research development and production of manned and unmanned ground-vehicle systems, electro-optical and smart munitions systems and is a pioneer in the field of versatile, high-performance missile and rocket technology.Responsible to the Director of Hardware Engineering for the planning, implementation and oversight of the engineering goals and objectives for Engineering & Technology and the Hardware Engineering directorate.The Circuit Card Design Senior Manager duties include enterprise functional management support to multiple Lines of Business (LOB) across assigned sites. Responsible for the requirements, analysis, implementation, integration, qualification, and verification of sensor technologies including: Radio Frequency (RF), Electromagnetic Interference (EMI), Guidance Navigation and Control Hardware Solutions, and Optical solutions. Provide technical and process oversight, recommendations and support to the program Engineering & Technology Managers (ETMs) and Hardware Engineering Managers as required. Responsible for staffing support; coordinate with the ETMs to ensure the manpower forecast reflects the latest program/project requirements. Ensure staffing requirements are met. Participate in proposal submissions, program level reviews, and technical reviews. Support the Hardware Engineering process improvement goals and objectives. Duties include review and analysis of metrics data and implementation of process improvements. Establish and update technical standards as required.Relocation: Relocation assistance is possible for this exciting position.#MFCVETSBasic Qualifications:- Must be a U.S. Citizen and have the ability to obtain a DoD Secret security clearance- Appropriate degree from an accredited college, or equivalent experience/combined education, with professional experience and specialized training commensurate with assignment; preferably BSEE or MSEE, BSME or MSME, or BSAE or MSAE- Experienced with applicable sensor technologies, circuit design, component selection, procurement, manufacturing, design verification, and qualification.- Solid verbal and written communication skills- Must have good interpersonal and leadership skills with the ability to work with all levels of an organization- Adaptable and flexible with ability to manage change and lead an organization- Ability to assume a future role as a program technical leadDesired Skills:- Previous experience as a Functional Manager, Functional Lead with MFC- Experience with Electronics Design, Electronic Packaging, Mechanical Design, Hardware DesignBASIC QUALIFICATIONS:job.QualificationsLockheed Martin is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
