The primary mission of this role is to define, develop and execute enablement programs that drive Palo Alto Networks' Cortex business units growth. We are looking for an impactful and creative Global Program Managerto develop and drive the execution of global sales effectiveness for the Cortex business unit inside of Palo Alto Networks. This highly motivated team player will co-create and deliver product and sales training programs globally. This is a strategic role that requires a balance of technical expertise with a strong roll-up your sleeves and 'get it done' mentality. Success requires teaming with key stakeholders from our product management, product marketing, industry go-to market, sales and sales enablement teams to create and drive the enablement process, identifying key next steps, gaps and ultimately driving programs through the execution lifecycle. This position will have a focus on product learning across the entire Palo Alto Networks Cortex platform. You willalso act as an influencer and leader across sales enablement teams.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Create, develop and deliver the global enablement priorities, in a cross-functional manner, focusing on product and process learning needs.

  • Contribute to sales effectiveness program strategy, design, and execution for Cortex in partnership with the central Learning and Development (L&D) leadership team.

  • Co-design with the L&D team scalable, interactive enablement programs that personalize the learning journey of specialists, generalists and partners.

  • Deliver deep learning and scenario based programs with confidence, creativity and enthusiasm (both in-person and virtual).

  • Manage key logistical tasks including course assignments and scheduling.

  • Communicate project details and updates to project team, appropriate governance team(s), and key business stakeholders.

  • Manage an integrated communication plan of personalized touch points to understand the product enablement needs and to ensure support from key leaders and stakeholders.

  • Develop and manage messaging in support of the execution and success of each learning program.

  • Manage detailed enablement projects, ensuring that project team members and stakeholders are focused and executing their assigned tasks effectively and on time.

  • Drive accountability, ownership, and metrics for the learning outcomes and the impact of enablement events and programs.

  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement by actively collecting feedback through various methods (e.g., assessments, survey’s, focus groups, etc.), evaluating learning effectiveness, and recommending changes to optimize the learning experience.

Qualifications

  • Background in solution engineering, product management, product marketing, sales or technical enablement.

  • Deep understanding of selling security technology.

  • Advanced project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and related tasks, people, and deadlines.

  • Ability to build and maintain positive working relationships while delivering results in a highly complex, matrixed global organization.

  • Strong interpersonal and presentation skills that span across various cultures and professional backgrounds.

  • Good working understanding of key project management tools including and presentation tools.

  • Courage to challenge perspectives, and give and receive constructive and honest feedback.

Preferred

  • 3 to 5 years previous enablement experience.

  • 5+ years in the security industry.

  • Direct, channel or technical sales experience

  • Experience with LMS systems.

  • Hands-on experience with video editing software, creative design.
