Telematics Lab manager/ Engineer

Telematics Lab Engineer/ Manager Location: Plano, TX Duration: Long Term Technical Skills:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Vehicle Electronics Development.
• Ability to document ES (Engineering Specification), Evaluation Specification
• Experience with development models (Agile, SDLC, Open source, others)
• Knowledge of following in-vehicle technology platform (Bluetooth, BLE, Wifi, MOST, or CAN)
• Ability to conduct root cause analysis, triage, and document
• MS office tools (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Visio)
• Strong communication skills

• Prepare and maintain test bench and retrofit vehicle environments to support multimedia evaluation, including functional, combination, high load, and performance testing Where needed, design or obtain parts and conversion equipment needed to evaluate head unit interactions with other vehicle components and evaluate functions
• Coordinate with related departments and suppliers to prepare evaluation environment and coordinate evaluation event.
• Support performance improvements as well as usability improvements of multimedia and telematics services.
• Support the evaluation team for the entire life cycle of product evaluation (i.e., Planning, Testing, labs and equipment management, and maintenance).
• Support continuous improvement and process standardization during the evaluation phase.
• Report resident engineer activities and key highlights to the back office of Denso Team
