MFG/Pro QAD EDI Analyst

Position: MFG/Pro QAD EDI Analyst Location: Southfield, MI Duration 12+ Months Technical/Functional Skills

• Very good knowledge of QAD EDI architecture and ECommerce Configuration (all versions EB2, SE and EE specially)
• Very good knowledge about EDI standards used by main Customer and with Suppliers at least in the specific geographic area (NA)
• Good knowledge about Lear EDI architecture and tools used in different regions (NA ) transferring edi data from/to QAD environments (GXS and Gentran) with Customers and Suppliers
• Very good capacity and autonomy in IT Analysis to be able to understand business requirements for EDI flows and to prepare functional detailed specifications for an external vendor (Sw House) to explain necessary sw changes to be implemented in TPL/DB/edi functions/gateway programs.
• Good capacity to evaluate and discuss quotations for Sw Change received by external vendors.
• Very good capacity and autonomy to prepare necessary technical documentation for requested services (TPL SNF structure and format) to external teams (for example requesting change to a GXS map or a new map).
• Very good capacity and familiar dealing with GXS DD team (or directly with GXS in case needed) to request the needed services.
• Very good skillset to be autonomous doing internal validation test of EDI Sw changes including coordination with external team (example GXS) to be able to fully validate an EDI flow from Customer/Supplier data till data integration in the ERP-QAD.
• Technical knowledge to be able to prepare and provide instructions to external or internal technicians for TPL Upload and TP Setup in QAD environments including massive setup activity for new QAD launch in a plant. To be able to do it in autonomy in test environments.
• To be able to do also massive QAD EDI TP Setup/TPL Upload (configuration changes) in autonomy in test and production if needed, accordingly to Project lead and economy.
• No sw changes transfer to Productions environment will be needed. This is managed by Lear Deploy team accordingly to Sw Management Process
• Capacity to develop small changes in TPLs can be also much appreciated and helpful in some cases.
• Good capacity to work together with business (AKU) or other IT analyst to support and document test validation.
• Very good attitude to work in a Project team respecting time and quality for assigned tasks and reporting promptly detailed status of assigned tasks and issues to the Project lead / manager.
