Aetea has been asked by their valued client, to assist with their need for a Manager/Associate Director of Stock Plan Administration. The client and the team you’ll be working in are great and offer positive challenges in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to

:
  • All aspects of worldwide equity administration, including leading and executing day-to-day equity procedures; processing equity awards and transactions, terminations, cancellations, vesting, etc.
  • Ensure all forms of equity compensation are administered in accordance with the terms and conditions of the Company's equity plans
  • Maintain meticulous records relating to all aspects of equity grants
  • Administer ESPP purchases, handle activity during open enrollment periods, and monitor and communicate contribution changes to Payroll
  • Lead departmental process improvement initiatives and participate in cross functional projects
  • Adhere to internal processes and procedures and compliance with tax withholding & reporting requirements
  • Serve as primary point of contact for all incentive equity-related inquiries, including from grantees, internal stakeholders, external auditors and third-party vendors
  • Develop and implement employee education, trainings, and communications
  • Maintain trading blackout periods, pre-clearance and enforcement of insider trading policy restrictions
  • Provide thoughtful leadership on equity plans, including keeping connected with industry groups, and recurring review of legislative & regulatory publications
  • Collaborate with SOX, Finance, Payroll, Legal and Human Resources on all equity reporting requirements
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and foreign regulations, along with securities laws

Minimum requirements

:
  • Bachelor's degree with an emphasis in Finance or Accounting
  • 8+ years stock administration experience in a public company
  • High level of proficiency in Excel, as well as proficiency with other Microsoft Office tools
  • Excellent planning, organization and time management skills including the ability to support and prioritize multiple projects
  • Preferred experience in a pharmaceutical, biotechnology or related environment
  • Preferred NASPP (National Association of Stock Plan Professional) training
