  • This position requires self-initiative, ownership, excellent listening skills, responsiveness, collaboration, technical leadership expertise, time management, communication and business acumen. This position will be responsible for managing multifunction and multi-vendor efforts to plan, sell, implement, and support service solutions to address customers’ complex business issues. May manage the integration and/or development and execution of deliverables directly to the customer and in support of major enterprise-wide projects and annual support agreements that often exceed $5M in revenue. Global collaboration and project/support coordination will be needed as required.
  • A Program Manager supports a strategic objective of one or more IT customers, and thereby directs one or more specific projects that are initiated to accomplish that objective. Those individual projects will have individual goals (and, if warranted, individual project managers) but are linked together and have specific dependencies that require holistic management in order to assure achievement of the overall program objective.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Works as leader to ensure Capability teams and Key Strategic initiatives are executing according to IT Program Management playbook
  • Able to independently lead medium to large programs
  • Works with IT Business Partner to help document strategic roadmap at the Epic/Feature level, with emphasis on mapping dependencies across multiple Capability Teams
  • Helps uncover and coordinate strategic dependencies across teams, both by helping to facilitate Big Room Planning, and through coordination across execution
  • Program Managers may attend Backlog Grooming sessions, Sprint Planning, Sprint Reviews, and Sprint
  • Retrospectives to better understand the cross-team dependencies
  • Program Managers may help groups of Product owners communicate to stakeholders, help groups of Scrum
  • Masters identify and mitigate risks, and will facilitate large synchronization events that are required to align multiple teams on scope and commitments
  • Serve as an extension of IT Business Partners in working across teams to manage resource impediments, budgets, or vendor management
  • May help identify process improvement opportunities across teams for large-scale delivery and orchestration
  • Provides technical expertise in planning, execution, and leadership of program, projects, and initiatives

Qualifications :

Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree

Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelors in Computer Science, Business Management, or related field
  • Masters Degree in related field
  • Typically requires 8 years leading IT/Business projects of varying complexity and global scope
  • PMI & PMP Agile Certification
  • Three+ years responsible for managing portfolio of IT/Business projects
  • Professional Certifications a plus (ITIL, Lean Six Sigma, Agile Coach etc…)
  • Demonstrated experience in leading Agile team and driving change
  • Demonstrated success in communicating with key stakeholders at all levels of the organization
  • Demonstrated ability to balance competing requirements and interests, keep team focused on top priorities, and find ways to achieve win-win or obtain acceptance/consensus for best compromise
