Systems Engineer

Submit an application today!Major responsibilitiesWork together with vendors and other IT personnel for problem resolution

Administer and control all installed systems and infrastructure

Configure, test, maintain, and install application software, system management tools, and operating systems

In a proactive manner provide the highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability

Track an assay application performance for potential bottlenecks, determine possible solutions, and collaborate with developers to achieve those fixes

Give 2nd and 3rd level support

Manage redundancy strategies, security, and backup

Be involved the design of information and operational support systems

Note down and retain custom scripts to increase system efficiency and lower the human intervention time on any tasks

RequirementsExperience managing all aspect of Windows infrastructure (Active Directory, Exchange, Office 365, physical and virtual servers, etc.)

Strong familiarity with Active Directory

Windows OS experience

Solid understanding of VMware

This position will be the best fit for a candidate with solid experience in the administration and performance tuning of application stacks
