Job Title: ETL Developer with Business IntelligenceJob Number:12022020Job Location; New York, NYJob Type: Long-term ContractA global bank is seeking an ETL Developer with Business Intelligence experience (Business Objects, Tableaux, PowerBI, Essbase). The candidate will be required to work closely with the Finance team to perform data analysis and develop feeds, applications and reports. The candidate must have strong design and analysis skills to ensure the deliverables are comprehensive and intuitive. The candidate must have excellent written and oral communication skills and experience as a client facing representative. Additionally, the candidate must understand the Software Development Lifecycle and the process necessary to perform effective change management. The candidate must have expert skills in all areas related to DataBase, ETLs and the surrounding development of Stored Procedures and IDQ to improve the overall quality of data in our Financial ecosystem. ResponsibilitiesThe IT Finance Development Analyst will:• Development of Finance Reports using: Business Objects, Tableaux, PowerBI, Essbase.• Implement processes which conform to DQ standard, guidelines and best practices• Develop Data Base Structures based on industry guide lines and best practices.• Adhere to standard by developing Data Base Structures, documenting SoftWare Lifecycles, utilizing standard naming conventions & adhere to version control.• Matching Component Selection Guidelines.• Must be both hands-on as well as have the ability to define and explain complex concepts and solution/design to technical and business audiences.• Design, Develop and implement DataBase Structures and ETLs in various manner as outlined below:o Table Creation and DDLs (Column, Key Constraintetc)o Stored Procedures (including joined tables, Cursor, Exceptions etc)o Extract Reports for evaluation of data integrity.o Creating basic ETLso Creating Advanced ETLs, lookups, unconnected SPs and PK generatorso Creating WorkFlows with PRM and List files • Design, develop and integrate ETLs using Power Center and Administration Server console to enable easy interpretation of transactional data, Normalized and De-Normalized data.• Establish workflows processing to ensure data is refreshed and available in a timely manner via the use of Control-M scheduler.• Integrate data to be consumed into Tableau or Business Objects to report on predictive results from analytical trending and modeling related to data flows.• Establish standard methodologies for ETLs, data assessment and interpretation across multiple databases to ensure consistent information integration.• Develop, maintain and continually enhance a strategy around large data volume management within the department tools.• Participate in design reviews of prototypes, and applications ready for production.• Develop a solution/framework for provisioning data for consumption by business users who create reports.Develop data quality reports and metrics using Informatica data quality tool.• Maintain existing IT infrastructure and optimize/streamline informational flows and visualization.Collaborate with various functional teams to achieve required business results.Requirements• Experience with reporting tool: Tableaux, Business Objects, PowerBI, • Knowledge of Informatica components required to operate with different DBs (PowerCenter experience required).• Deep knowledge of data processes, approaches, measurement techniques, and business cases including standardization and Match/Merge.• Demonstrated experience implementing Informatica’s ETL components • Experience in integrating data transformations across architectures where it is called from one or more production applications to return back and/or file results.• Excellent inter-personal and written and verbal communication skills.• Experience in Financial and/or Regulatory organizations critical.• Strong SQL skills using Sybase databases, Microsoft SQL Server databases.• Experience in designing Informatica power center mappings, workflows and reusable mapplets.• Experience with requirements gathering – working with clients to determine analytical needs and carrying those needs through the development of data-driven tools to facilitate the requirements.• Experience with predictive and prescriptive data analytics, to include regression analysis and simulation.• Expertise in designing, building and representing complex databases and data modeling.• Expertise in the research, development, and support of data visualization techniques.• Experience with Informatica Data Quality data consumption.• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships and networks across all levels of the organization;• Excellent written and verbal communication skills;• Ability to drive projects forward in a fast-paced environment;• Excellent time management skills with ability to multi-task and prioritize workload, while maintaining a high attention to detail and meet deadlines; • Strong problem solving and analytical skills.• Strong communication & presentation skills, particularly with clients, team leads, & managers.• Ability to work in a dynamic and often fast-paced environment.• Comfortable working in a collaborative / team-based approach.• Ability to take initiative and work independently.Vacancy expired!
