Lead/Senior DevOps Engineer - Google Cloud Platform

One of those advanced capabilities is their Cloud and DevOps practice. Our firm has been exclusively engaged to identify a Lead/Senior DevOps Engineer with expertise in the Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform) to join their growing solutions team. Our client has been a premier partner for Google for the last 12 years so continuing to build their Google Cloud Platform capabilities at an enterprise level is a critical priority for their devops practice. This is a full-time, direct hire position which will provide opportunities to work on transformative and meaningful projects with high profile clients. The initial project will be working with one of their largest accounts (financial services) as they build out their Google Cloud Platform environment. They currently expose an API using microservices architecture so it is important for them to have scalable mechanisms for the development, deployment and management of the API(s). The Lead/Senior DevOps Engineer will provide that expertise and recommend Google SRE best practices.

• 7+ years of experience in Cloud / DevOps engineering
• Proficient within the following stack and areas:
• Google Cloud Platform
• Google Cloud Infrastructure, Identify Access Management (IAM) Google Cloud Platform, Terraform
• Google Cloud Services, Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE), Istio, Load Balancing, Key Management Service (KMS)
• Well versed in concepts such as:
• AlwaysOn Availability / Disaster Recovery (hot/hot configuration)
• CI/CD
• Google Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) best practices
