Description & Requirements

Produce defined quantity of parts and components according to company and customer specifications.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The following duties are normal for this position. These are not to be construed as exclusive or all inclusive. Other duties may be required and assigned.

More specifically, the employee owner will:

Operate CNC machine.

Setup CNC machine using prints, schedules, and tooling.

Perform routine and preventative maintenance, including but not limited to checking oil, grease, and coolant.

Perform housekeeping in area, including but not limited to sweeping, mopping, and cleaning tools and machine.

Measure and record parts and components to verify accuracy according to specifications.

EDUCATION – EXPERIENCE – COMPUTER SKILLS

High school diploma or a general education degree (GED);

One- or three-months related experience and/or training; or

Equivalent combination of education and experience.

Experience and ability with G-code preferred.

TRAINING – CERTIFICATIONS – LICENSES

Continually participate in additional training related to the job.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

While performing the duties of this position, the employee:

Must be able to occasionally sit, kneel, crouch, crawl, and/or stoop/bend.

Must be able to regularly use hands and arms.

Must be able to regularly stand and walk.

Must be able to occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

Must be able to frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close (clear at 20 inches or less), distance (clear at 20 feet or more), color (ability to identify and distinguish colors), peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.

Specific hearing abilities required for this job include the ability to hear equipment alarms and the ability to hear instructions from others.

ENVIRONMENTAL ADAPTABILITY

The noise level in the work environment is usually loud when in the manufacturing facility.

Frequently exposed to wet or humid conditions(non-weather), work near moving mechanical parts, fumes, or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, and vibration.

Occasionally exposed to outdoor weather conditions, and risk of electrical shock.

Steel-toe safety shoes, safety glasses, hearing protection.
