Small Accounting and Tax Firm based in Middletown, RI is looking for a part time experienced full-charge Bookkeeper, experienced working with accounting systems (Quickbooks Online and Xero). Responsibilities include keeping all financial records updated, preparing reports, end of the period close, reconciling bank statements, etc. You will utilize the accounting system to process business transactions, manage accounts payable and receivable, disbursements, expense vouchers, and receipts for the company and clients. Key responsibilities include:
Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable Print invoices, daily reports, etc.
Prepare and maintain accounting documents and records
Prepare bank deposits, general ledger postings, and statements
Monthly reconciliation of accounts in a timely manner
Entry of data of financial transactions into the system
Prepare and submit weekly payroll hours to Payroll Company
Processing of Credit Cards
Well organized with the willingness to perform filing and record-keeping tasks
Prepare a daily flash report in excel
Monthly closing. Other duties as assigned.
Have the ability to work independently and multi-task. Approximately 14 hours/week. Please submit a resume with salary history. We are looking to hire immediately.
