JOBSUMMARYIncumbent assists Manager. Incumbent integrates, implements, andmonitors all departmental procedures and processes. Incumbent helps implement andmonitor the technical and quality assurance standards and procedures. Incumbent is accountable for staffperformance and provision of care within the Department of Laboratory Services. Monitor fiscal and budgetary operations andprovide support for the vision and direction of the product/service line. Responsible for ongoing interface andfrequent communication with patients, customers, employees and management. Effectively manage change, facilitateinnovation and foster teambuilding to provide the highest quality and most costeffective laboratory product possible Incumbent is responsible for trackingproblems involving patient care delivered from their designated areas. Incumbent is responsible for schedulingin-services of new staff and students.Responsible for monitoring of proficiency, annual educationalrequirements, and competency testing of all staff working in their designateddepartment#LI-BB1LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION/REGISTRATIONRequired: ASCP, NCAor equivalent, which meets CLIA 88 criteria.Preferred:EDUCATIONRequired : Bachelor (BS, BA) in clinical laboratory
