Vacancy expired!

IMMEDIATELY Looking for experienced sub-contractor crew for a job in Orange Beach, Alabama. The pay is $500 per square for labor only for the first 3 man (or more) crew that meets the 4 requirements below and can sign a contract and be on site Monday December 14th (If we’re not able to get a qualified crew by Monday, we will go with the next qualified crew that can start Tuesday morning.) Installation only, all materials supplied and are already on site.

We’re a local Contractor with an Alabama State Roofing license, Florida State Certified Roofing license, Florida State Certified Builders license, and Mississippi Roofing License. First licensed in Florida in 2004, and have lived in Pensacola, FL area ever since. Started this company in 1996, and I’m still operating under the same business name over 24 years later (and have the original paperwork from 1996 to prove that claim). Integrity and honesty is how you stay in business that long under the same name. We were backed-up with work before the storm, and we will still be busy on commercial and government projects after the storm work is over and everyone else is out of work.

I am ready to meet the right crew on site Monday morning and sign a contract with you. This job consists of 14.5 squares of flat clay tiles that were installed with 2 screws per tile. The roof is brand new but was damaged by hurricane Sally. You can see in the attached photos how easy the removal and installation is. There are NO batten boards or wood slats on the roof because these are Ludowic brand Williamsburg 16” flat tiles made to look like slate or shake, and just install flat to the deck. These are NOT Spanish barrel shaped tiles, and there is NO motor, adhesives, or anything like that. Just unscrew 2 screws and lift the tile off. There are 109 tile per square, each tile is 16” tall by 10.25” wide with a 3” overlap. Straight run, no valleys, and not cut up.

The tiles need to be removed, (2 stainless steel star-bit / torx drive 2.5” screws per tile), then put a new layer of Grace Ice & Water Shield over the existing layer of Grace, and then reinstall the same tiles back on with new screws. When re-installing, each tile does need to also have a small metal clip screws on to the roof too (the original roofers only installed a few of these clips instead of one per tile). ROOFERS. Doing Shit Others Can’t, Since FOREVER! THE JOB IS VERY STEEP PITCH AND IS 3 STORIES! Real Roofers only need apply. We have an 80 foot Genie lift on site for you to use full time. I’m tired of handymen, painters, floor installers, etc. pretending to be roofers. LEAVE THE ROOFING TO REAL ROOFERS. If you are real roofers with your own harnesses, lanyards, ropes, roof jacks, and gear, and can handle this kind of work for excellent pay, then please email me immediately and VERIFY THAT YOU MEET ALL 4 OF THE REQUIREMENTS BELOW. I will respond in the order I receive your replies. RESPONSES THAT INCLUDE A PHONE NUMBER FOR ME TO CONTACT YOU WILL BE RESPONDED TO FIRST SINCE TIME IS SHORT! Photos of some of your work would go a long way too. We will send you plenty photos of the job and roof details.YOU MUST ANSWER ALL OF THE FOLLOWING 4 QUESTIONS IN YOUR EMAIL IF YOU WANT A RESPONSE! SORRY BUT WE WON’T WASTE TIME RESPONDING TO ANY EMAILS THAT DON’T CONFIRM THAT THEY MEET THESE 4 MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS THAT ANY REAL AND LEGIT ROOFING CREW SHOULD BE ABLE TOO!:

1. Are you and EVERY person on the crew legal to work in the US? 2. Are you currently insured for roofing with liability insurance, and have worker’s comp coverage for your crew? (It can be workers comp coverage with an insurance policy, or through a payroll leasing company, a state issued exemption, or if each person on the crew is an independent contractor with their own LLC and is exempt). Compliance with state requirements for Workers Comp is the responsibility of the Sub-Contractor. 3. Do you have the tools needed, ladders, cordless drills (not impact drivers), roof jacks and boards, and safety equipment such as harnesses, lanyards, and ropes for all crew members? 4. Are you and your crew REAL roofers with experience, not afraid of heights, roofs, ladders, or work? Not interested in handyman, drywallers, flooring guys, etc. Need real ROOFERS. It’s a roofer thing, you wouldn’t understand. Real roofers do though.

A written sub-contract will be signed for the job, which includes a copy of the complete Scope of Work and the manufacture’s installation details, contract payment amount, etc. You MUST be able to complete the jobs correctly. Please, have the experience needed to fully complete a job, since all jobs are a per project contract price. Meaning, if you start the job, but you’re unable to finish it to manufacture’s specifications and local building codes, or quit because you realize you don’t really have enough experience to completely finish the project on your own, then payment will not be made for whatever partial or half-way work was done.

We usually only do metal and low-slope roofing. We also have jobs in Pensacola, Perdido Key, Gulf Breeze, Ono Island, with no tear-off, install only, and can get plenty of work in Lillian, Gulf Shores Orange Beach, Foley, etc. with an excellent per square pay after this job if you are a top notch metal roof crew. We can do lots of work together and make lots of money after even after the storm work dries up.

IF YOU EMAIL US AND DO NOT HEAR BACK, PLEASE CHECK YOUR EMAIL SPAM OR JUNK FOLDER SINCE CL EMAILS SOMETIMES ARE SENT THERE! (This is why it’s better to include your phone number. This is not a scam to get your number, scam CL post don’t have details like this, or know squat about roofing!
