It's a great place to work.Bridge Inspector - Allentown, PAWe have a unique career opportunity for a Bridge Inspector with a track record of successful PennDOT bridge inspection experience. The Impact You Will Have:The successful candidate for this position will be primarily responsible for planning and leading bridge inspections for simple and complex bridgesCandidate will be responsible for both bridge inspection and office engineering assignmentsWhat You Will Need:Bridge inspection assignments vary greatly, but physical requirements like climbing embankments and manipulating ladders should be expectedOccasional overnight travel may be requiredCandidate should not be averse to working at heights or adjacent busy roadwaysCandidate must have access to a vehicle and a valid driver's licenseThe ideal candidate has successfully completed PennDOT's Bridge Safety Inspector Course and holds a current CBSI designationThe ideal candidate meets (or will soon meet) NBIS Team Leader qualificationsThe ideal candidate is familiar with BMS2 and element-level inspectionThe ideal candidate will have experience overseeing inspection team members, report submission, load rating analysis, and client coordinationAlfred Benesch and Company is an Equal Employment Opportunity/ Affirmative Action/ Disability/ Protected Veteran Employer.
