Social Media Communications SpecialistWho You AreSomeone who will drive the strategy and execution of the connected support communications with customers, partners, and technology across our social media channels to enable collaboration and assistance with common support issues. You will oversee the Cisco Support Community Social Media channels and ensure it is providing access to expertise and a wealth of documented knowledge and experts to encourage online self-support. You are the face for the social community by being actively engaged and involved daily with the goal of expanding participation and involvement of Cisco employees, partners, and customers.What you’ll do:· Engage with Cisco Experts, all Community members, and Marketing teams to promote and grow the Cisco Community· Perform channel moderation with the use of administrative tools: Review the Community daily looking for unanswered posts, interesting threads, sensitive issues, posts that require deletion from site with notification to user, unacceptable content, and posts requiring escalation to an SME· Engage with Experts to manage Ask the Expert series, Webcasts, and other of online events and coordinate with the Community Business.· Create and present quarterly reports to executive stakeholders· Stay up to date on points of view from leading industry analysts and key influencers in the market· Create reports and analyze site metrics on a weekly basis to monitor the utilization of the site· Develop surveys to gather feedback, analyze results, and report findings with recommendations· Identify trends within the community and for key Cisco initiatives and product categories· Help build requirements for new Community social tools and channel opportunity· Define new topics for Community social events and knowledge management· Act as a resource for internal community project teams to understand how best practices from the community can be applied to other Cisco community channels· Stay up to date on new social media tools, such as Sprinklr, Brandwatch, Hootsuite, etc. as well as with best practices and how other organizations and companies are using them, so that the company can continue to be an early adopter of these technologies.We are seeking high-energy and qualified candidates who possess the following skills and experience:· 3+ years of experience in Engineering, Marketing or Administration Degree.· Must have expertise in web technologies, communities, and social media· Knowledge of social media tools such as Sprinklr, Brandwatch and how to manage Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, etc.· Exceptional writing and presentation skills; ability to leverage various types of media to tell factual stories clearly, creatively, and succinctly· Demonstrated effectiveness in working with development organizations, sales, marketing and channel teams· Prototyping skills using tools like Flash, Flex, Dreamweaver, Photoshop· Knowledge of imaging and video domain applications, such as Camtasia, preferred· Bachelor's Degree required; MBA is a plusWho you'll work with:You will work cross functionally with the Customer Experience, Sales, Marketing, and IT organizations, playing a leadership role in transforming Cisco by driving a positive Support Community digital experience.Our team, Digital Lifecycle Journeys (DLJ) digital expertise makes us uniquely qualified to address the evolving expectations of today’s connected customers and partners, along with Cisco sellers.
