The US CHC portfolio includes well-recognized brands such as Allegra, Nasacort, Xyzal, Dulcolax, Zantac, Gold Bond, Cortizone-10, Icy Hot, Aspercreme, Rolaids, and ACT, amongst others.Job SummaryThe Sr. Manager of Sales Strategy is responsible for the development of customer Go to Market Strategies and Plans for Sanofi’s Rx to OTC Switch candidates. Representing the voice of the customer and the field sales team, this position plays a critical role in ensuring successful launch execution across all major customers and classes of trade, including both traditional classes of trade as well as eCommerce and specialty channels. The Sr. Manager of Sales Strategy ensures that our brand equities are brought to life in the customer ecosphere and that the key assets of each major customer are leveraged by developing a trade investment strategy supporting the brand’s distribution, pricing, merchandising and shopper marketing objectives. As a member of a dedicated Rx to OTC switch team, effective daily collaboration across the Sales, Marketing, Consumer & Shopper Insights, and Supply Chain Teams, as well as with Regulatory, Medical & Legal Teams as needed for launch planning.Job ResponsibilitiesDevelops customer/category retail trade objectives and strategies

Develops trade investment strategies to drive maximum sales, profit and ROI for the switch candidates

Work closely with marketing to develop and execute launch plans consistent with the overall brand launch strategies.

Collaborate with customer teams to develop customized launch plans for each major customer

Provides customer call support where needed as the brand and category expert.

Engages with marketing teams with sales and retailer feedback & perspective to guide brand strategy and product development

Coordinates the development of merchandising assets including in-line shelving, display, and speed to distribution packs.

Implement category strategies and visions across customers lead and support the implementing of promotional strategy across customers in-line with brand priorities

Develops channel trade plans and product promotional strategies

Translates brand marketing actions into customer actions

Contributes to category marketing plans with customer and category analysis, promotional strategies

Key contact for the marketing teams and other commercial functions

Develops go-to-market strategies for related category reviews with major retailers

Contributed to demand planning process, including pipe fill expectations on on-going demand forecasting

Job RequirementsEducation : BA/BS from an accredited college or university with a focus in business analytics preferred. MBA a plus.

Experience: 5-8 years of experience in Sales Strategy or similar role with a proven analytic track record.

Rx to OTC switch experience highly preferred.

Professional Skills: Comfortable working with complex data across multiple sources to develop actionable insights and strategic recommendations. Expert-level knowledge of Nielsen/IRI and experience with Homescan Panel is expected. JDA or other merchandising software a plus. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Highly motivated worker and thinker; team oriented.Role Specific Competencies: Ability to organize and present data in a business case format utilizing Excel spreadsheets and PowerPoint presentations. Strong organization and analytical skills, as well as, attention to detail. Ability to handle multiple projects and priorities. Proficiency with retail and CPG analytics. This position requires extensive use of computer equipment. Must have a demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft business: expert knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint and intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Word and Access.Special Requirements: Position is based in Bridgewater, NJ at Sanofi CHC’s corporate office.
