Full Time Opportunity, Roma Location Overview of Position:Sr. Financial Analyst is responsible for the budgeting, forecasting, long-term planning implementation and business strategic analysis of the organization. Conducts financial analysis, modeling, and forecasting to ensure efficient financial operations. Reviews and develops analysis reports to provide insightful suggestions for cost reduction and strategic business decisions. Supports operational processes, training, and projects as requested Adheres to policies, procedures and regulations to ensure compliance and patient safety. Participation in compliance and other important training is a condition of employment.Essential Functions:

  • Support quarterly forecasting and annual budgeting process.
  • Report and provide in-depth monthly and quarterly variance analysis of actual vs. forecast and bench marking reports
  • Capital Expense management - budgeting and tracking of major capital expenditures and evaluation of their return on investment
  • Medical Affordability - analyzing claims expense and contracts to provide insights to medical directors to assist in the effort to reduce unnecessary medical costs
  • Clinician Compensation - modeling and reporting monthly clinician compensation to ensure alignment with overall company growth strategy
  • Perform ad hoc reporting, as needed
Education:Required - Required - Bachelor's degree in related fieldPreferred: Bachelor's Degree in Finance or AccountingExperience:Required: 5+ years related experiencePreferred: Forecasting and Financial Reporting ExperienceKnowledge, Skills, Abilities:Ability to communicate effectively; ability to analyze and interpret data; ability to plan, develop and coordinate multiple projects. Expert Excel skills. Proficient in Power Point.Preferred: Experience with Essbase/SmartviewWorking knowledge of healthcare financial statements or accounting principlesCareers with Optum.
