Senior Software AnalystAs Senior Software Analyst at you will provide technical leadership to a digital product team, with focus on specifications, configuration, data migration, and testing activities. You are recognized as a technical advisor for solution(s) addressing complex problems and will also provide coaching and mentoring to others within the product team. Primary responsibilities of this role include:• Guide system configuration, validation, and migration strategies• Evaluate alternatives and provide recommendations to improve cost, quality, and performance of software applications• Analyze problems/needs and determine software specifications that must be fulfilled to address• Collaborate closely with users and other key stakeholders to ensure that solutions address problems/needs• Follow industry-standard agile software design methodology for development and documentation• Provide context to product team members on “what” and “why” behind the problems/needs enabled by the technical solutions.Required Skills, Experiences and Competencies• Proven experience collaborating within and across teams to ensure that solutions meet needs• Strong understanding of computer technology and software development life cycle• Foundational technical acumen across complex software solutions (e.g. infrastructure, environments, data structures, architecture, etc.)• Demonstrated effective verbal and written communication skills with emphasis on persuasive communication, tact, and negotiation• Proven experience working in a team environment within minimal supervision; highly team-oriented• Proven experience with Agile development process, methodology, and scaling• Working knowledge of common integration patterns• Proven experience delivering software solutions in US financial services industryDesired Skills, Experiences and Competencies• Demonstrated passion for agile mindset and tenets• Working knowledge of domain/product (business and product knowledge)• Working knowledge of UX/CX• Working knowledge of software development• Working knowledge of technical product roadmap and how it aligns with solution design• Working knowledge of accounting conceptsEducation (or equivalent work experience)• Bachelor’s degree in a Computer/Software Engineering, Computer Science, or Information Technology discipline (w/ 7+ years applied software analysis and/or project management experience)OR• Equivalent Experience (12+ years applied software analysis and/or project management experience)
