Scrum Master Summary:Signature Consultants is seeking a Scrum Master for an opportunity with a banking client! The client is seeking a Scrum Master to join the enterprise resiliency team to support initiatives focused on improving preparedness and response to a large data corruption incident. This group will be the core team and partner with key stakeholders across the company to define solution requirements and manage delivery.Location: Boston, Chicago, Dallas, Des Moines, Minneapolis, NY, Philly, Phoenix, Raleigh, San Fran, St. Louis, (remote until post Covid-19)Length of Assignment: 19 months +Rate: $58 per hour (Approximately 120K per year w2) negotiable based on skills experience, (comes with weekly pay and some benefits)All candidates must work as a w2 employee of Signature (having either a , ship, L2, , or TN Visa)
Job Description, Responsibilities, and Requirements:- Guide teams and organization on Agile practices
- Manage cycle of assessing and improving scrum team practices and maturity
- Facilitate daily standups, sprint planning, demos and retrospectives
- Use experience in planning and estimating to determine sprint scope based on team's velocity and capabilities while partnering with the product owner on prioritization
- Partners with Product Owner(s) to ensure continuous refinement of backlog, which may include stories from multiple projects
- Proactively addresses systemic impediments to team agility and guides the team(s) on methods to escalate when needed to prevent challenges from becoming blockers
- Build effective relationships and managing these relationships and expectations across internal technology business groups, business partners, and 3rd Party Application vendor partners both in the US and globally.
- Manage the SDLC associated with specific applications and workstreams
- Facilitates Scrum of Scrums. May train other Scrum Masters and serve as a mentor to less experienced team members Ideal candidate will be able to react quickly in a dynamic environment of that must execute flawlessly for all of our team members.
