Position Details:Job Title: Technical Writer - IILocation: Santa Clara, California - 95054Duration: 8+ months(+extension) Qualifications:BA/BS, preferably in English, Technical Communication, Engineering or equivalent years' work experience 3-5 years' experience in technical writing, technical references materials and training materials. Knowledge of the Alinity h-series, or hematology systems desirable. Hematology experience is a must Technical WriterSummary:Create technical written documentation in support of company's medical device product lines. These documents will be used by our domestic and international customers, field service, technical support, customer support and clinical applications personnel. These documents may include Operator, Service and Training Manuals, Directions for Use, Labels, Technical Service Bulletins, and technical manufacturing procedures as required. Communicate with other writers, engineers, scientists, product managers, etc. to develop and understand technical content. Assist in document format and layout. Main Responsibilities:Performs mentor role.Non-project contact with customers.Contributes to the completion of specific programs.AccountabilityResponsible for producing clear, comprehensive and concise technical documentation. - Ensure compliance with all domestic and foreign regulatory standards and requirements, as well as all internal guidelines regarding format, style and content. - Coordinate the use of outside vendors to translate, certify and deliver all new releases and changes to labeling and manuals. - May be called upon to assist with the documentation of functional requirements or other design inputs on development projects.
