- Expertise in the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
- Advanced knowledge of Java, and Microservices development
- Development of web based technologies, to include HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, etc.
- Full-stack development within User Interface (UI), middle-tier, and back-end development of relational databases
- Expertise in relational database management systems: SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL and experience with NoSQL Databases such as MongoDB or Cassandra
- Extensive knowledge in SQL, with the ability to create complex queries, stored procedures, triggers, function, views, etc.
- Development of RESTful Web API's and/or SOAP webservices
- Expertise in Visual Studio IDE, and version control/source control repositories such as SVN, Git, etc.
- Knowledge of DevOps tools, utilizing Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous Deployment (CD) tools, i.e.: Azure DevOps -VSTS, Jenkins, Chef, Puppet, Docker, Kubernetes, etc.
- Preferred experience with Cloud Computing Services, AWS or Azure, as well as Infrastructure as a Code (IaaC)
- Strong experience working within Agile/Scrum methodology and framework, with experience in Test Driven Development
