End User Services Engineer REQUIRED SKILLS:
- Provide support services to teams making software, hardware, data and configuration changes to Store applications and infrastructure
- Manage request types including lab infrastructure, image deployment, equipment deployment, configuring equipment, equipment removal and recycling, and badge access
- Manage and coordinates the use of shared non-production lab environments across multiple platforms
- Promote repeatable and reliable processes
- Govern/manage changes to the labs landscape
- Partner with workplace services, network services, datacenter services, and others to coordinate activity specific tasks listed below:
- Server installations in racks
- Additional power to rack, adding BRM modules
- Placement of new lab tables
- Placement of new lab racks
- Removal of racks
- Removal of tables
- Network setup
- Seek and identify ways to add value and continuous process improvements
- Installation of new equipment according to the installation documents
- Installation of thin clients
- Carrying out post installation checks
- Backup existing environment on request
- Patching and networking between Lab devices, e.g. servers, POS terminals, and store switches and Controllers
- Managing servers through SCCM
- AD group joining and disjoining of servers/VMs
- Daily maintenance, trouble shooting and support of all equipment in the Labs
- Keeping records of Requests and Incidents and providing progress report to Stakeholders
- Working with support teams, SAVM and SSI, for image transfers and resolving issues
- Awareness of latest releases, Quarterly Password Rotation, monthly MS Patches for Xstore, GlobalStore, WebPC and other devices
- Awareness of installation documents for all Lab servers and devices
- Awareness of the inventory of all equipment in the Labs
