Summary of Role: The Systems Administrator performs administration, operational support, and design of efficient, well-structured, well-documented technical solutions for HCM. They provide IT support by performing advanced security administration, problem analysis, and diagnosis. They understand the data model and architecture of the system. They support all integrations with external systems, understand middleware technology, and identify downstream effects. This individual must be able to analyze and document technical flows from end to end. They will maintain cloud deployment architectures, continuous integration, and deployment. They will work directly with key stakeholders in delivering business critical functionality as well as identifying process improvements, architecture changes, and quality assurance best practices. Responsibilities: Understand how applications support business processes and apply this knowledge to solve defined business problems. Perform advanced security administration and resolve complex security issues. Maintain system integrity. Define and enforce information security standards across the HCM platform. Partner with HR and IT teammates for system-related projects, including system releases/upgrades, enhancement packages, and process redesign. Maintain all SOX and Internal Audit Controls to ensure overall compliance; participate in internal audit reviews and provide requested information and or remediation. Meet all service line agreements (SLAs) for service desk incidents. Troubleshoot hardware and software errors by running diagnostics, documenting problems and resolutions, prioritizing problems, and assessing impact of issues Develop technical documentation for systems, projects, and processes. Analyze code and monitor logs to assist developers to troubleshoot. Coordinate testing of new patch or software releases and assist as required. Support platform upgrades and assists with defining and supporting HR IT technical processes across internal IT resources, and external resources. Facilitate data transfer to support enterprise reporting tool Perform problem identification, resolution, and root cause analysis to avoid disruptions of service. Leverage deep understanding of product engineering, emerging technologies, and technical capabilities to guide and influence stakeholders and teams in developing solutions, build, deployment, testing and ongoing management of technology services. Implement strategic enhancements that result in improved productivity, increased efficiencies, and time-saving processes. Collaborate closely with IS and Project Managers to drive successful integrations across products in an Agile development process. Maintain familiarity with other IT system/business application capabilities and scope definition in order to make recommendations about potential upstream/downstream integration or functionality intersection points. Ability to analyze user needs and architect complete solutions. Ability to listen, understand and facilitate process improvements. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills are required. Must be able to work independently with little direction/supervision. Must be adaptable and capable of absorbing new concepts and situations rapidly. Must be a strong team player with a positive working relationship with all IT staff and user groups. Ensure compliance with approved Corporate and company IT policies. Perform other assigned duties as required. Qualifications and Education Requirements: Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration/Accounting, or other related field or recent equivalent work experience. 2 or more years HCM business process experience. 4 or more years SaaS or premise based HCM solutions.
