Project Manager - PMP

Location: Remote

Contract Length: 12+ Months to 3 years

Rate: D.O.E

Status: W2 only

Qualifications: The client has an immediate opening for a Project Manager / Scrum Master, reporting to Sr. Manager Program Management. The Security portfolio currently consists of a mix of Waterfall, Agile and Agile hybrid managed initiatives. Uses industry-standard best practices in order to assure delivery of goals and objectives, as well as compliance with all discipline processes and governance channels. in

Technical Infrastructure, Information and Cyber Security. Advanced knowledge and use of formal project management methodology and application of the PMBOK, industry-standard trends and best practices in project management, as well as Agile / Scrum. Strong ability to work with others in order to achieve a common goal, resolve conflicts and manage cross-functional and external relationships; demonstrated ability to negotiate and influence without authority. Ability to contribute to a positive work environment and install a 'sense of urgency' and motivation in others. Ability to solve problems by considering available information, prioritizing and making timely decisions; correlates data using standard business tools and approaches, spots trends and applies sound risk management principles. Experience in oral and written communications with all levels of stakeholders from various cross-functional and support staff to senior level executives (authored writing samples required). Ability to assemble and guide a cross-functional team to achieve assigned goals and objectives.

Requirements: Bachelor's Degree, with a major in Information Systems Management or related field, and 4+ years experience managing small to moderately large IT projects or an equivalent combination of education and job-related experience equal to 5 - 7 years. A medium to high degree of competence in MS Tools is required; experience or exposure to Jira or other similar tools is preferred. Preferred: Certified Project Management Professional (PMP) from the Project Management Institute (PMI) and/or Certified Scrum Master. Experience managing projects in one or more of the following areas Technical Infrastructure, Information and Cyber Security.

Responsibilities: Provide leadership, expertise and direction on medium to large-scale complex projects or programs with the security product area. Offer advanced-level project management oversight and directly influences activities on business-critical projects from the conceptual phase through solution implementation and project close. Serve as a single point-of-contact for and interfaces with all areas affected by IT projects including business owners, IT partners and FRB System executive management. Use industry-standard best practices in order to assure delivery of project goals and objectives, and milestones and deliverables, as well as compliance with all project management processes.
