Accounting Clerk

DescriptionAccountemps is looking for a driven Accounting Clerk with a strong sense of urgency and excellent work ethic. The primary responsibilities of the Accounting Clerk are:-Assisting with accounts payable: matching of invoices-Accounts receivable: process daily invoices and billing, apply cash receipts, assist with business-to-business collections via the phone or email as neededResearch and resolve discrepancies

Record financial information to the journals and ledgers

High volume data entry

Help with general ledger account reconciliation and preparing for month-end closing

File invoices and statements as needed

Assist with general admin work as needed

Ability to work well with others

Previous ERP experience

Proficiency with Microsoft Excel (V-lookups and Pivot Tables preferred but not required)
