We are currently seeking an Accounting Assistant!

Perform daily accounting and bookkeeping tasks while assisting the operational accountants with administrative duties.

Responsibilities include:

Process weekly AP draws

Create and assign vendor IDs

Scan deposits to the bank

Scan bank reconciliation for record-keeping

Distribute financial draw information

Conduct and balance monthly AP audits

Enter biweekly payroll invoices

Compile month-end reports received from the site teams

Scan bank reconciliation for record keeping

Perform the reconciliation and verification of accounts

Book miscellaneous journal entries

Balance bank recs - monthly list

Set up vendors as needed

Monthly A/P Audits

Mail Checks

Request missing vendor information

Process 1099 & 1096’s yearly

Assist in the Preparation of Weekly and Monthly Financial Statements

Scan checks via desktop deposit

Scan bank recs & draw packets

Requirements:

Bookkeeping or accounting experience preferred

Must be self-motivated with attention to detail

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Ability to effectively communicate and meet deadlines

Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide mathematical figures

Knowledge of Microsoft Office

Ability to manage multiple projects and respond quickly in a fast-paced environment

Handle sensitive information with integrity and confidentiality

Additional Information:

Compensation: $17.00 per hour
