The Andex Prototype Maker is part of our Tooling Design Department and requires an energetic person who takes pride in ownership in a constantly changing environment. Individual will find challenge and reward working side by side with our engineering, sales and production team.Exposure to CAD/CAM, manufacturing and CNC machining is an advantage in this capacity. The Prototype Maker is responsible for, and should possess the following skill sets:ulliMachine intricate prototypes and thermoform tooling components using manual CNC milling machines/liliProduce downstream thermoforming components using woodworking tools/liliInterpret prints, diagrams and tooling lists/liliForm, deliver and diagnose prototype samples using prototype vacuum forming machines/liliEffectively communicate project progress/liliWork closely with design engineering and thermoform production team members/liliMust be able to read and understand blue prints, verbal and written instructions/liliExperienced in CNC programming and operations/liliAccurately make geometric and trigonometric calculations/liliStrong Organizational and Time Management Skills/liliResourceful Solutions Provider, with a focus on Visual Spatial Details/liliDetailed knowledge of product lines and packaging solutions, a plus/li/ulEmployees enjoy a self-managed team driven work setting.
