Job Description

Tidewater Direct LLC, a web offset printing company in Centreville on Maryland's Eastern Shore, is looking for full time press helpers for our night shift. A press helper reports to the lead pressman and is responsible for filling ink fountains, replacing rolls, following specific directions, driving clamp trucks, tending the sheeter if applicable to ensure no paper jams, cleaning, and assisting the pressman with whatever other duties are necessary to run a printing press effectively and safely.

Press Helpers work 12 hours a night, 3-4 nights per week from 7pm to 7am as production demands . The shifts are rotating shifts and rotations occur every four weeks from Mon- Wed to Thur - Sat . There are regular opportunities for overtime. Press Helpers should be flexible and willing to work in other departments if necessary.

Training for this position will start on our day shift converting to night shift once fully trained and fully staffed for the shift.

Job Requirements

Reliable Transportation
