Position description

Firegang Dental Marketing is seeking to hire a Finance and Human Resources Generalist to join its Administrative Team.

The Finance & Human Resources Generalist is responsible for the day-to-day bookkeeping and human resource needs for the Company. The Generalist will be responsible for financial budgeting, reconciliation, and reporting in addition to recruitment and development, employee relations, benefits and compensation, organizational development and ongoing oversite of the staff’s review process. The Finance & HR Generalist will report to the Company’s President.

Essential Functions

Maintain records of financial transactions by establishing accounts; posting transactions; ensure legal requirements compliance

Maintains subsidiary accounts by verifying, allocating, and posting transactions.

Balance subsidiary, including bank accounts by reconciling entries

Maintain general ledger by transferring subsidiary account summaries

Balance general ledger by preparing a trial balance; reconciling entries

Maintain historical records

Prepare financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information and trends

Comply with federal, state, and local legal requirements by studying requirements; enforcing adherence to requirements; filing reports; advising management on needed actions

Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed

Recruiting, developing, and onboarding staff

Oversite of compliance to regulatory concerns and reporting

Coordination of employee performance reviews

Policy development and documentation

Employee relations, retention and engagement initiatives

Companywide employee communication

Compensation and benefits administration

Other tasks as assigned

Required Education & Experience

Four-year degree in Finance, Business or related field

Two+ years related experience in administrative role with finance and HR experience

QuickBooks experience required

Experience working in a remote environment preferred, not required

Compensation Detail: $30,000-45,000 annually. Experience will be considered when offer is extended.

Schedule: Mon-Fri, 8a-5p

Schedule details: Normal business offers, some flexibility.
