Service Technician

Beauregard Equipment is growing and hiring Service Technicians in Scarborough and all other Maine branches (Knox, Hermon, Caribou). Beauregard Equipment is a family owned and operated dealer of light to heavy machinery for farmers, excavating contractors, homebuilders, highway contractors, landscape contractors, general contractors, industrial, municipalities and many other industries.

Job Duties :

Responsible for diagnosing and repairing heavy equipment

Perform scheduled maintenance

Inspect and replace parts that are worn out

Overhaul engines, hydraulic systems and electrical systems as well as preventative maintenance

Document jobs on work orders with accuracy

Troubleshoot issues with diesel engines

Maintain a clean and safe work environment

Qualifications:

Must supply own tools

Possess a strong mechanical aptitude

Ability to comprehend and learn technical manuals

Work effectively with company personnel and customers as well as work independently

Possess excellent oral and written communication skills

Trustworthy and dependable

Strong ability to follow all company policies, procedures, and safety regulations

Must be able to pass background check and have a clean driving record

Welding, fabrication, and electrical diagnostic is a plus

Hydraulic and electrical experience is a plus
