Security Specialist - CPSO/FSOSOLUTE, a capability provider known for forward-thinking, innovative professionals is seeking a Security Specialist with Contractor Program Security Officer (CPSO) experience, to assist the Facility Security Officer (FSO) in overseeing and ensuring adherence to regulations, policies and procedures regarding the protection of National Security information. Under the direction of the FSO, the Security Specialist will serve as the CPSO for Special Access Programs (SAP) and serve as the Assistant FSO (AFSO) performing a range of other facility and personnel security functions. Desired candidates are experienced in implementing security policy and procedures to ensure compliance with the National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM) and other government security regulations including safe guarding at the Secret level. The CPSO/AFSO will provide onsite support for all security actions and serve as the liaison with US Government counterparts, conduct security briefings and debriefings, monitor classified controlled areas, and perform periodic self-inspections. The CPSO/AFSO will perform other related duties as necessary.Responsibilities:Responsible for maintenance of records, databases, Security Practice & Procedures (SPP) and forms for documentation purposes.

Assist with the administration of the Security Education Program and to physically protect classified materials at secret level.

Provide security briefings, debriefings, and awareness training for site personnel.

Help maintain working relationships with government representatives, teaming partners, industry counterparts, departments and company contract managers.

Maintain thorough knowledge of industrial security management policies, procedures, requirements, and practices.

Maintain document and visitor control records; coordinate visit requests.

Conduct periodic self-inspections bi-annually or as required by Defense Security Service (DSS) and other reviews as directed by the government.

Maintain thorough knowledge and understanding of Joint Personnel Adjudication System (JPAS), Electronic-Questionnaires for Investigations Processing (e-QIP), and NISPOM.

Responsible for the day to day operations of cleared facility, will process DD254 for subcontractors, visit authorization processing for US and foreign travel and manage internal/corporate badges.

RequirementsQualifications:Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.

Must have and be able to maintain an active Top Secret clearance.

Contractor Program Security Officer (CPSO) experience.

FSO Training Certification.

Industrial Security experience performing the functions of implementing security policies in compliance with federal regulations, document control, visitor control, and security education of employees including knowledge of the government classified contract processes.

Completion of DSS Academy FSO Program Management Certificate for possessing facilities.

Proficient in the use of the Joint Personnel Adjudication System (JPAS).

Confidentiality is crucial to this role and strong decision making ability is essential.

Experience setting up SCIF environments is preferred.
