Required Qualifications:
  • 2-5 years of related work experience in a Deskside/Remote Support capacity
  • Will require working odd hours / weekends / on-call. These positions are part of a follow-the-sun support model and will require supporting users during non-traditional business hours.
  • Experience supporting Citrix, AWS and/or other virtual desktop environments
  • Active Directory experience administering user accounts and profiles
  • Proven experience providing exceptional customer service in a remote capacity
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Must have knowledge of current business-class desktop/laptop hardware and related equipment
  • Experience with mobile devices (iOS)
  • Automation experience is a plus (PowerShell, Chef, Puppet)
  • Experience with collaboration tools
  • Must thrive in a collaborative work environment and have the ability to work effectively with limited supervision
  • Must have excellent time management skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks relating to multiple initiatives at any given time
  • Experience supporting a mobile workforce
  • Experience supporting Windows 10 and Office 2016
  • Ability to bring innovation and creative thinking to the position
  • Technical skills that include Windows and Mac, VPN and networking, VDI, mobile devices and MS office.
  • Customer service skills that include empathy and drive to provide industry leading support.
  • Ability to listen and visualize to troubleshoot/resolve issues.
  • Self-driven and able to work both independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities
  • Perform phone support to remote users using individual judgment and initiative with minimum Supervision and direction.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoots end user desktop application and hardware issues and provide efficient, technically appropriate solutions.
  • Provide fast, effective resolution of problems or escalation on behalf of the customer to ensure the best end user experience possible.
  • Provide case status updates to management and end-users in a timely manner
  • Support and maintain effective relationships with users
  • Develop, document, and implement standard operating procedures and remote customer service guidelines
  • Provide support for PCs, laptops, printers, cell phones, tablets and associated peripheral devices; proven ability to troubleshoot home network setups and isolate issues between wireless, home LAN and WAN
  • Support end users in their use of core applications such as Microsoft Office, Citrix, and MDM (mobile device management), as well as basic understanding and troubleshooting for PL Business applications (will train)
  • Tailor communication appropriately to the audience across all levels of the company from senior executives to business leaders to technical IT professionals to operations support personnel.
