Seasonal Full Time Administrative Assistant
Hjortness CPAs has been serving the Fox Valley area for over two decades and currently provides superior accounting, payroll, and tax services to our community. Our dedicated team of Certified Public Accountants and accounting associates help our clients reach their financial goals by providing high quality expertise and service.
We are currently seeking a seasonal administrative assistant to assist in office duties as specified below, during tax season (January 15th – April/June 15th).
Responsibilities include:
Greeting clients and assisting with client drop offs
Answering inbound calls
Scheduling appointments
Printing and assembling client reports and returns
Filing
General office support such as faxing, copying, ordering supplies, mailing, etc)
Requirements:
Prior experience as an Administrative Assistant preferred
Working knowledge of office equipment, like printers and fax machines
Proficiency in MS Office (MS Excel and MS Word in particular)
QuickBooks knowledge preferred; however not required
Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work
Great attention to detail and problem solving skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong organizational skills
Ability to work in a fast paced, high pressure environment.
High School degree; additional qualification as an Administrative assistant or Secretary will be a plus
Hours and Compensation:
Office hours are Monday through Friday 8:30 am – 5:00 pm
Full time 40hr/week position with possible overtime
Occasional Saturdays
$13-$15/hr depending on qualifications and experience.
