We are looking to hire an experienced bookkeeper to work in our Baraboo office. Must be proficient in QuickBooks, Word, Excel and internet-based programs.
Responsibilities will include:
40 Hours per Week - Monday-Friday
Answer Phone Calls
Enter all Financial Transactions into QuickBooks
Process Weekly Payroll
1099’s
Manage Cash Flow
Insurance Verification
Preparation of Various QuickBooks Reports
Invoices and Expenses Management
Process Construction Draws & Collect Lien Waivers
Preparation of Monthly Financial Statements
Communicate Directly with Vendors and Subcontractors
Research and Resolve Invoice Discrepancies
Manage the flow of all incoming communication as it relates to accounts payable policies and procedures and follow up of any outstanding or missing information.
Keep Office Clean, Organized and Office Supplies Stocked.
Submit end of year tax information to accounting firm.
Requirements:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to demonstrate knowledge and experience using QuickBooks
Must be able to work independently.
Ability to handle multiple tasks in an efficient manner and ability to prioritize with multiple deadlines.
