GIS Technician

In this role you will be working for ESRI ArcGIS 10.x Desktop software suite, general GIS principles and concepts, you will be using the ArcGIS editing tools, and working with shape files, personal/file geodatabases, geo database topology and editing in a SDE multi-user database, querying databases and validating data. You will be coordinating, planning, and supporting simultaneous tasks and GIS projects, querying data, preparing and delivering reports to the immediate supervisor and others, using geospatial data in the creation and production of GIS maps and data.

• Must have four-year college degree in GIS, Geography, or a related field.
• Proficient with the ArcGIS 10.x Desktop software suite.
• Experience with creating and editing GIS data, and GIS work experience with a city or county government agency.
