Job Summary

The Registered Nurse in Employee Health supports the vision of the Total Healing Environment and the values of respect, integrity, accountability, commitment and quality by providing nursing care/health education and guidance for YRMC employees through a program that includes first aid, care, and assistance to employees who have work related illnesses or injury; providing facility-wide immunizations/inoculations to prevent spread of communicable diseases; and monitoring of employee health to protect patients and employees and to prevent accidents and illness.

Job Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Must hold a current, valid Arizona or compact state RN license
  • Two years of clinical nursing experience required
  • Must be current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS for Healthcare Provider certified
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing providing excellent customer service.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple priorities/tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
  • Basic computer literacy and proficiency in Microsoft Windows
  • Basic proficiency with MS Office

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Two years of Employee Health Nurse experience
  • Electronic medical record experience strongly preferred

Must pass pre-employment screening
