Rehabilitation Technician

Job Summary

The Rehabilitation Technician supports the vision of the Total Healing Environment and the values of respect, integrity, accountability, commitment and quality while providing assistance to the professional staff of occupational therapy, physical therapy and speech pathology in the delivery of patient care activities. Assumes primary responsibility for physical maintenance of the department and its equipment.

Job Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

• High School graduate or GED
• Previous experience working with nursing staff to deliver patient care
• Current AHA BLS for Healthcare Provider certification
• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing providing excellent customer service
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to effectively manage multiple priorities/tasks in a fast paced environment
• Basic computer literacy and proficiency in Microsoft Windows

Preferred Qualifications:

• Acute care setting and/or exercise field experience
• Electronic Medical Record (EMR) experience preferred; Cerner strongly preferred

Must pass pre-employment screening
