RN McDuffie Nights Med/Surg (Full Time)

ResponsibilitiesThe RN is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating nursing care and provision of safety to assigned patients, and/or patients on the Med/Surg Unit, utilizing the developmental theory of the pediatric, adult and geriatric patient. She/he is responsible for the hands-on care of patients. He/she is responsible for assisting to assess the health patterns, physical systems, including the psychosocial, cultural and spiritual form. The RN is responsible for the effective and efficient management of all assigned personnel, supplies and equipment used in the care of patients. She/he promotes and coordinates team work with physicians and personnel and interfaces effectively with other departments.QualificationsQUALIFICATION AND REQUIREMENTS:EDUCATION:A. Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing.

LICENSURE:A. Maintains current licensure as a RN in the State of Georgia.B. Maintain current CPR.

EXPERIENCE:A. May be a new graduate, but Med Surg experience preferred.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:A. Must possess good problem solving skills.B. Ability to handle and operate equipment of the task assigned.C. Ability to communicate intelligently and in a professional manner.D. Must have integrity.
